There’s a great post which notes the romantic nature of the scene where Emma and Regina do shots.
As a parallel, when Rumple takes Belle out for dinner in 2x19, it’s a similar scene: only couples and, if anything, the lighting is less romantic for their date.

Also, did you catch that female couple that oddly looks like Emma and Regina in the Rumbelle scene? …… yeah… unintentional….
The clues for SQ are there in nearly every episode.
And as androidiva mentioned in my original post (thanks!)- all the couples in the E/R diner scene are blonde/brunette pairings. Seriously, they couldn’t fit more symbolism into these scenes if they tried. XD

Henry made this poster for the election after Emma rescued Regina from the fire at her office. It literally looks like something out of a SQ fanfic. No wonder why they decided not to include this in the final cut. DEAD. GIVEAWAY.
Remember that time when Emma was nervous to ask Regina if she could buy her a drink? And Regina just patiently waited for her pretending to be deeply involved in a conversation with her tea. This set of gestures and looks, is exactly what its like to be sitting next to someone you are deeply in love with.
